An overturned tanker truck is snarling traffic at a busy Tampa intersection, police said.
The truck was carrying liquid asphalt when the driver attempted to turn north onto 50th Street from East Adamo Drive. While making the turn, the asphalt shifted and caused the truck to roll onto its right side.
Most of the liquid asphalt stayed contained. However, the crash caused a minor spill.
Crews are currently working to clean up the spill and remove the truck from the roadway.
The northbound lanes of 50th Street are closed to traffic.
The driver, Carlos A. Rosario Jr., 26, has been cited with careless driving.
