With Tropical Storm Isaac moving toward the northern Gulf coast and away from the Tampa Bay area, all public schools in the Bay News 9 viewing area will be open on Tuesday.
The six counties in which schools were closed on Monday - Hillsborough, Hernando, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk - will reopen on Tuesday, according to either school officials or information posted on school district websites.
Citrus County did not close schools on Monday and had no new information posted on its website.
