The Florida Highway Patrol says a 20-year old Holiday man was killed and two other men were injured in a head-on collision.

The accident happened around 8:50 p.m. Wednesday night on Grand Boulevard.

Troopers say a vehicle driving south on Grand Boulevard approaching Sunray drive began to swerve toward the shoulder for unknown reasons. The driver then over-corrected back onto the roadway and traveled over the center median into opposing traffic resulting in a head-on collision with another vehicle traveling northbound.

The collision caused the vehicle traveling north to overturn. The driver of the vehicle heading northbound was taken to Trinity hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the vehicle heading south along with a passenger were transported to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.

The accident remains under investigation.
