Pasco deputies say a woman faces charges after her 4-year-old, 3-year-old and 10-month-old crossed a busy street alone.

The Sheriff's Office said when Crystal Rusaw left the children home alone, the three wandered outside and walked across nearby Massachusetts Avenue.

The road has four lanes and a 45 miles-per-hour speed limit. Deputies say a witness saw the children and helped them to safety.

They arrested Rusaw and she now faces child neglect charges.

Deputies say she later admitted leaving the children alone to go to a neighbor's home to have sex and fell asleep.
