A man whom deputies believe shot two people and killed himself in a domestic incident Saturday in Citrus County has been identified as 61-year-old Frank M. Valenza of Beverly Hills.

Around 4 p.m. Saturday, Citrus County sheriff's deputies responded to a Beverly Hills residence after a domestic disturbance was reported.

Deputies heard gunshots when the arrived, and when they entered the home, they found one man - now identified as Valenza - dead and two people wounded.

The injured pair - Janice Ames Genco, 60 and her dependent son, Michael John Genco, 28 - were taken to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where they remain hospitalized but are expected to recover.

Detectives said the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Valenza and the Gencos.

They believe Valenza was in the process of moving out of the residence because of arguments with Janice Genco over her son and that Valenza shot the pair and turned the gun on himself.
