A man and three children died in a car crash after he lost control of his car and struck several trees in Lake County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The man was driving a 2009 Mercedes south on State Road 33 when he lost control of the vehicle and struck several trees and a pole, troopers said. None of the victims were identified.
The man and a male child were pronounced dead at the scene. A female toddler and a male child died later at Southlake Hospital.
Authorities didn't indicate the man's relationship to the children.
The crash remains under investigation.
