Authorities are looking for an inmate they say escaped from the Tarpon Springs Work Release Center on Friday night.

Anthony Pruett, 22, was last seen around 8:30 p.m. at the work center, Tarpon Springs police said. An extensive search was conducted by K-9 officers and air units.

Authorities described Pruett as black, 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds with a burn mark on the left side of his face and flames tattoos on his right arm and right hand. He is serving a two-year sentence for burglary, grand theft and possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Anyone with information about Pruett is asked to contact a local law enforcement agency or the Florida Department of Corrections at 850-922-6867.
