Drier, cooler air has moved into the Bay area and will deliver pleasant conditions for the next few days.

According to Bay News 9 Meteorologist Juli Marquez, the cold front is south of Florida bringing morning temperatures in the 60s across our area. It’s a 5 to 10 degree change from 24 hours ago.

Tampa had a morning low of 67 degrees so far this morning. The last time it was 67 degrees in Tampa was on May 27.

“The cooler air has moved into the area and will create pleasant conditions for the Bay area,” Marquez. “It will be mostly sunny with cool mornings and warm afternoons.”

Temperatures are expected to rise to the mid 80s Thursday.

Similar conditions are anticipated for the next several days.
