The battle to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young is heating up and now former Democratic Chief Financial Officer and gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink said she’s 'very interested' in the seat.

According to Bay News 9’s partner paper the Tampa Bay Times, Sink says she's even willing to move into the Pinellas County district from where she currently lives in Thonotosassa.

If she was to enter her name recognition would make her an instant frontrunner.

She narrowly beat Rick Scott in that district during the 2010 governor's race with 51.1 percent of the vote.

Just two weeks ago Sink announced that she wouldn't not challenge Scott a second time.

Sink says she'll make a final decision on the congressional race within the next 30 days.
