One person was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash on State Road 54 in Pasco County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Billy R. Driggers, 33, was driving a 2003 Saturn sedan when he lost control of his vehicle on a left-hand curve near Foster Lane just before 10 p.m.
Troopers said the car went off the road into a ditch and collided with a concrete culvert and then a tree.
The Dade City man was taken to Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.
Driggers later died as a result of his injuries.
