A Manatee County school that has never had a concession stand at their home field will now have one.

Bruce Williams Homes has partnered with Bradenton Christian School to build a new concession stand behind home plate of their baseball field.

Construction began in May after BCS secured private donations to help fund the project.

“We continually look for projects to be a part of which help benefit the community,” said Britt Williams, President of Bruce Williams Homes.  “Bradenton Christian School has never had a concession stand/press box at their home field.  They have been operating with a portable tent and table for many years.  We are pleased to be able to help them make this goal a reality."

The new concession stand is behind home plate and includes a 2nd story for a press box/announcers booth.

Head Baseball Coach, Jeff Perkins is excited for the upcoming season with the new concession stand.

"We are so grateful to the many private donations we received to fund this project, as well as Bruce Williams Homes, who is generously doing it at cost,” said Perkins.  “We could not have added this great feature to our home field without all those participants."
