A Lutz woman who couldn't resist a quick fix was arrested for shooting up in the sheriff's office bathroom, deputies said.

Deputies said they caught Stacy Slabach, 32, with a needle in her arm while using the public restroom inside the agency's evidence building.

Slabach was arrested last month for driving without a license. As a result, her car was impounded. Deputies said Slabach returned to the sheriff's office with her mother to retrieve medication that was left inside the car.

While her mother was working the situation out, deputies said Slabach went into the lobby bathroom and injected herself with cocaine. Deputies said the needle was still in her arm when an evidence technician walked in on her.

Deputies were called to the bathroom. They said Slabach admitted to doing the drugs.

Slabach was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine and paraphernalia. Her ride to the county jail in Land O' Lakes was a short one, as she was already on the property.
