Treasure Island residents are still waiting to see if a discount will be offered on annual beach parking permits.
The city recently raised the price of the permits from $5 to $75, as they now have to be offered to non-residents to ensure beach renourishment continues.
On Wednesday, the city commission was expected to pass a discount of nearly 50 percent for a limited time, but the commission tabled the resolution to discuss other options at their next workshop.
