The owner of the limousine company whose vehicle was involved in a robbery attempt and shooting earlier this week in St. Petersburg said his limo was riddled with bullets.

Terry Kurmay, who owns Alpha Limousine Service, said the vehicle has 26 bullet holes in it. Two of the 12 people who were in the limo Tuesday night suffered injuries but are expected to recover.

The limo driver was able to drive away but not before shooting back at the car shooting at him.  He has a concealed weapons permit. The driver's brother was in the front seat with him.

"Thank God, you know, that he did have a concealed weapons permit," Kurmay said. "Because I ultimately think that he saved his life, his brother's life and the people that were in the car."

The limo driver is not expected to face any charges. The suspects remain at large.

Kurmay said his employee did everything right.

"I know that neither one of them was headed off to work think(ing) that they were going to entail in a gun battle with anybody."
