Stetson University College of Law is hosting a free Elder Consumer Protection Expo on Wednesday in Gulfport.
The event will teach consumers how to guard against scam artists. Services provided include an on-site document shredding drop-off, Do-Not-Call/Opt-Out registration, and free credit reporting services to help guard against identity theft.
Presenters from local and state organizations and agencies will answer questions during the event.
It includes a free continental breakfast, boxed lunch and door prizes.
The program begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. at Stetson’s Gulfport campus, 1401 61st St. S.
