Citrus County deputies arrested a Homosassa man they said beat his girlfriend in the head and face with frozen meat after a mix up.
The victim told deputies her boyfriend, 55-year-old Burt Conrady, went into a rage when she took the wrong meat out of the freezer.
He requested ham croquettes but she pulled out ham steak and pork chops.
Conrady denied striking his girlfriend but deputies say the woman had swelling on her cheek.
He is charged with abuse of an elderly person or disable adult, as deputies say the victim is mentally challenged.
