The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate a fatal car accident near Brandon.
Troopers say Sophia Hamilton McCoggle was driving her 2006 Hyundai Sonata on the southbound Interstate 75 exit ramp to State Road 574 around 2:43 a.m.
For some reason, she lost control of her car.
The Sonata hit a tree on the road's shoulder.
McCoggle died at the scene.
