Bay area residents can expect another hot and humid day Thursday with lower rain chances.

According to Bay News 9 Meteorologist Juli Marquez, conditions will be mostly sunny with some isolated thunderstorms. Rain chances Thursday and Friday will be just 20 percent.

"There is an area of high pressure across the Gulf and light winds this morning will pick up in the afternoon as the sea breeze develops," Marquez said. "A few showers and thunderstorms may develop with low rain chances near the coast and slightly higher chances in the inland areas."

Temperatures will be much like yesterday, rising into the low to mid 90s across the region.

Rain chances will increase this weekend.
