The family of the 64-year-old Tampa woman who was shot and killed and dumped in a Georgia river is reacting, as two more people are arrested in connection with the murder.

Authorities arrested Jamey Conner and Amy Clark in connection with the murder of 64-year-old Judy Murrow. Joshua Helton was already behind bars for the murder.

Investigators said Jamey Conner and Amy Clark helped Helton dump Murrow’s body in the river. A fisherman made gruesome discovery on the Fourth of July.

So far authorities or Murrow’s family can’t find a motive for the crime.

“Everybody I know wants a reason. Why did they do it? Nobody can come up with a reason,” said Judy Murrow’s son, Kenneth.

Kenneth said he was friends with 25-year-old, Joshua Helton, who is also a semi-pro football player. And now that same friend is charged with his mother’s murder along with Clark and Conner.

“That’s just a bunch of evil people. They’ll do anything for a dollar. Evil. That’s not bad that’s evil,” Kenneth said.

He said news about his mother’s death has friends and complete strangers stepping up to help bring her body back from Georgia for a proper burial.

“I just want to get her home where she belongs. I don’t want to mess up their investigation. These people need to pay. They need to pay,” he said.

The sheriff in Telfair County Georgia said Helton will be extradited back to Georgia no later than next week. Investigators are still trying to figure out where the victim was killed. What they do know is her body was found in Georgia and that’s where Helton will face murder charges.

Investigators in Georgia arrested Jamey Conner and Amy Clark on Thursday and they said even more arrests could be coming soon. They said two weapons involved in the murder have already been recovered.
