The Zephyrhills woman who won a $590-million Lotto jackpot is making news again, this time for helping a school in her hometown in Maine.

Gloria MacKenzie, 84, has promised administrators of Schenck High School in East Millinocket, Maine $2 million in funding to patch the high school's roof, which has severe leaks.

School administrators at Schenck High have been working for the past year to find funding for the roof repair, saying the school is need of about $7 million of rehab.

MacKenzie's family lived in East Millinocket for generations and, even before the promise of a donation to fix the school roof, was known for helping the community.

The MacKenzie family is not expected to comment publicly about its donation to Schenck High School.
