Deputies are looking for two women who they said used a 9-year-old boy to steal a purse at a Brandon Chuck-E-Cheese.

The incident happened Tuesday, June 25, at the Chuck-E-Cheese on Brandon Boulevard.

Deputies said Chantel C. Jenkins, 24, and Jasmine D. Johnson, 26, walked into the restaurant with the 9-year-old boy to attend a birthday party.

Surveillance video captured the two women looking at the area where the victim had set a purse on the counter, the report said. The video shows Johnson directing the boy to retrieve the purse.

The boy grabs the purse off the counter, then runs into the seating area and places the purse on the table where the two women are seated, deputies said.

Deputies said surveillance video then shows the two women leaving Chuck-E-Cheese, with Jenkins carrying the purse.

Later that night, deputies said the victim's credit cards were used at a local convenience store. Detectives are trying to identify the suspects who reportedly used the cards.

Investigators said they determined the boy did not realize that the purse belonged to someone else.

Detectives are now looking for the two women, who are wanted on charges of grand theft, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and fraudulent possession of personal information.
