A Plant City man died Tuesday when he was hit by a truck while crossing a road on his bicycle.
The crash happened at 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of South Frontage Road and North Park Road.
Christopher Goddard, 22, was riding his bicycle across the southbound lanes of North Park Road when he was hit by a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. Police said he was improperly crossing the road at the time.
Goddard died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the Silverado was not injured.
Police said no charges will be filed in the crash.
