Deputies are investigating a man's death after his body was found floating in the water off Ozello Trail in Homosassa.
Witnesses called 911 shortly before 7 a.m. Monday to report the body, which was found floating in the water near a boat that was about 50 yards from the shoreline.
Divers with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office pulled the man's body from the water. No signs of trauma or foul play were seen on the man, who was identified as Alvin D. Head, 75.
Head's body has been turned over to the medical examiner's office for further investigation.
