A Polk County home is about to make its television debut.

The DIY Network show Blog Cabin selected a 1920s-era wood home on Main Street in Dundee. But the home won't stay there.

The network and its website are promoting how the house will be moved to Winter Haven. Once it gets to its new locale, viewers will get to decide who remodels it.

The lakefront home will be renovated with help from the DIYNetwork.com audience and given away to one lucky winner.

Meanwhile, the Polk County tourism agency is working with the show's producers to provide glamour shots of the county to help promote Polk as a tourism destination.

"This show Blog Cabin has a really devout following online and, of course, on TV," said Kris Keprios of Visit Central Florida. "So we'll get quite a bit of publicity out of it and, hopefully, that'll be translated into new visitors to Polk."

Fans of the show can vote on how they think the exterior of the house should be fixed up.

The completed home is set to be featured in a one-hour special on DIY Sept. 8.
