The Dade City Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing 12 year old girl.

Thunder Rey Valadez, of the 14000 block of Rozar Court, was last seen near Taylor Avenue and Martin Luther King Blvd. at approximately 3:45 p.m. when she got off her school bus.

Thunder is an 8th grader at Centennial Middle School and lives with her grandmother, Sheila Migoyo.

Migoyo informed police that Thunder suffers from depression and has not been taking her medication for the last month. A note was found at the home telling family that she did not want to be a bother.

According to the family, Thunder has not tried to harm herself in the past, but it is unusual for her to run away in this manner.

Police, family members and neighbors have been searching the area and contacting friends, but have not been able to locate her. She also has relatives in the Lock Street area.

Thunder is 4'11" tall, weighs 98 lbs. with shoulder length brown hair and bright blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing a tan/gray jacket, blue jeans and pink tennis shoes.

Anyone with any information regarding Thunder's whereabouts is asked to call the Dade City Police Department at 352-521-1495.
