Authorities continue to look for a man they say forced his way into the home of an 80-year-old Zephyrhills woman and tried to sexually assault her.

The woman fought off the assailant with a vacuum cleaner and ran for help as the assailant fled with the appliance, deputies say. The attack happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday at a home on 23rd Street.

Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, whom they describe as as black man in his late teens or early 20s who is around 6 feet tall with a thin, athletic build. The man was wearing a multi-colored shirt with camouflage cargo pants and carrying a book bag, they said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office at 800-854-2862.
