A 28-year-old Ohio man is facing charges after being arrested for selling fake concert tickets on Craigslist in the Bay area.

Geoffrey Minton has been charged with two counts of communications fraud, eight counts of possessing counterfeit tickets and six counts of grand theft.  

According to Tampa police, Minton sold four fake tickets to the Sept. 26 Luke Bryant concert at the Amphitheatre for $400.

The customer's quick thinking led police to Minton.

Police said Chris Vasquez, who was among multiple victims, took a picture of Minton's drivers license and his license plate when he bought his tickets.

Vasquez said he found out the tickets were fake when he showed up for the show. Three other people have come forward to report purchasing fake tickets. Tampa Police officers believe Minton may have worked with a female accomplice.

One of the victim's worked with police to arrange a meeting with Minton to buy more tickets. Officers arrested Minton at a CVS Pharmacy on South Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. Police found eight tickets to the Jason Aldean concert in Tampa inside of the suspect's car

Officials said Minton and the woman were driving a gold Chevy Malibu with an Ohio plates. Minton, who is from Lynchburg, Ohio, is being held on $20,000 bond.
