Pumpkins can apparently get really big.
Beginning Wednesday, Dunedin resident Dan Liggett will display a 1,522-pound pumpkin at 1532 Santa Clara Drive.
It was grown in Circleville, Ohio, by Liggett's father, Bob Liggett. The elder Liggett has been a champion pumpkin grower for more than 20 years and recently shattered his own record at the Circleville pumpkin show earlier this month.
