City commissioners are continuing discussions to limit vacation rentals in the city of Anna Maria.

According to our partners at the Bradenton Herald, commissioners say those rentals damage the quality of life for year-round residents.

Commissioners are talking about making a new building moratorium on homes with four or more bedrooms even more restrictive.

Some commissioners worry some of the people applying for permits will lie on the paperwork, then turn properties into vacation rentals anyway.
