Tampa Police officers are investigating after a body was found in the Hillsborough River near the Platt Street Bridge.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office divers assisted the TPD Marine Unit in recovering the body shortly after 5:15 p.m. FWC and the U.S. Coast Guard also assisted.
Police are now investigating the incident as a suicide.
