Polk County schools have put some rules in place for football games that take place on Halloween.

School leaders say it's okay for spectators to get into the Halloween spirit and wear costumes to the football games kicking off on Friday.  However, costumes and clothing deemed inappropriate or in violation of the district's Code of Student Conduct will not be allowed.

In addition, costumes cannot cover or partially cover a person's face, and masks aren't allowed.  Costume props of all kinds are also prohibited.
