Tropical Storm Hanna has moved inland near the border of Nicaragua and Honduras.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, the storm is the remnants of Tropical Depression Nine. The low is being upgraded to Tropical Storm Hanna due to tropical storm force winds on the west side of the circulation.

A Tropical Storm Warning was in effect for portions of northeastern Nicaragua and eastern Honduras, but the Nicaraguan government has discontinued the warning.

Hanna is expected to be downgraded to a tropical depression by Monday night before dissipating entirely on Tuesday.
