Ina “Ellen” Moran is celebrating moving into her brand new Polk City home.

"I'm really overwhelmed,” said the 79-year-old woman. “Just joy in my heart."

Three hundred volunteers and almost 80 business donors made Moran’s new home possible.

Tim Williams says he met the family when he was asked to pray for a sick relative. Williams says he knew when he saw the mold infested house, with the roof caving in that he had to do something to help.

“I said, 'Hey, I know that God's capable of doing anything and I'm just gonna throw it out there,'" said Williams, who owns of S&W Supply.

Williams says prayers were answered and the community came forward. Moran’s old house was demolished and volunteers and donors came together to build the elderly woman a brand new house.

"I couldn't believe it to start with, when they told me they were going to build me a home," said Moran.

Moran’s new home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room and even a fireplace. But Moran said what she's especially excited about, though, is cooking her first meal in her new kitchen.

Williams says from groundbreaking to dedicating the house, the entire process was beautiful to see.

"It is amazing, I am so blessed to have even been a witness to this,” said Williams.

"I'm just so thankful to everybody that helped," said Moran.
