Two separate rollover crashes thwarted morning traffic Wednesday in north Pinellas County.
Around 7 a.m., a crash on U.S. 19 at Curlew Road in Palm Harbor closed all lanes traffic in both directions on U.S. 19 for a time. A short while later, a crash on McMullen Booth Road just past State Road 590 closed southbound traffic on McMullen Booth Road.
Traffic flow was restored by 8 a.m., except for one southbound lane of McMullen Booth Road.
U.S. 19 was closed to allow a medical helicopter to land and transport the injured to an area hospital. The crash in Clearwater also resulted in injuries, but no details were released.
