It has been almost two weeks since it rained in the Bay area.

That streak will not be broken Wednesday.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker, conditions will be mostly sunny and warm today. But an approaching cold front will change that - slightly.

"The sunny days just keep on coming," Linker said. "But there is a chance for some rain late Thursday into Friday."

High temperatures today will reach the mid 80s today before the temperature change arrives. Highs will be in the low 80s Thursday and in the upper 70s by Friday. Rain chances are 20 percent Friday,  but that will be limited to the morning hours.

Conditions will be cooler and breezy during the weekend.

Morning lows in some of the Bay area's northern counties will be in the 40s during the weekend.

"The front will not bring much in the way of rain," Linker said. "But it will allow for cool and dry air to move into the area."
