Suspects wanted for stealing copper from signs, cameras on I-75

Detectives are on the lookout for the suspects who are stealing copper from signs and cameras along I-75.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, someone has stolen underground copper cables that provide power to Florida Department of Transportation signs and cameras between mile markers 223-227 on I-75.

The thefts happened three times, between Sept. 2 through Nov. 8.
