A 39-year-old Bartow woman died early Sunday after a single-vehicle crash that wasn't discovered for several hours, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

Amanda Sue Reedy of Bartow was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe north on 80 Foot Road around 1 a.m. when the driver's side wheels drifted off the lroad, deputies said.

The sport utility vehicle rotated several times, hit a small stand of trees and then rolled over, ending up on its roof.

Reedy, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected and pinned underneath the vehicle, according to the crash report.

Deputies didn't respond to the scene until after 7:20 a.m., when they received a call about an overturned vehicle found near the 1000 block of 80 Foot road. They found Reedy dead at the scene.
