Deputies say a man suspected of burglarizing a Bradenton dive shop has turned himself in.

Richard Morris, 29, is facing burglary charges in connection with the incident, which happened Nov. 11.

Deputies said surveillance video showed Morris breaking into Dive Florida and taking $20,000 worth of equipment, including spear guns, dive lighting and underwater camera equipment.

Morris turned himself in Thursday evening, shortly after deputies released surveillance video to the public. Deputies said Morris confessed to the burglary and brought several items taken during the burglary, which were then returned to the dive shop.

Morris was booked into the Manatee County Jail without further incident.
