Some Hernando County motorcycle enthusiasts are doing their part to give every girl and boy a Merry Christmas this year.

The sheriff's office hosted a toy drive Sunday to collect dolls, games, books and everything else you can think of to stuff stockings this season.

They asked motorcyclists out to donate for a ride followed by a party.

“It's for kids that their parents are in jail and they have no way of furnishing their own Christmas. It's for kids that their parents don't make enough money. We put a Christmas on for them,” said Buzz Boyd.

The Sheriff's Office will continue to accept donations of toys, games, books and Walmart gift cards throughout November.
