The Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization has scheduled four public workshops to discuss affordable long-range transportation
The workshops will allow the public to review and comment on a proposed transportation improvements planned for the next 25 years. Authorities say input is needed on multi-modal transportation improvements for highways, transit, bicycle facilities sidewalks and trails.
Two of the meetings are set for Tuesday: from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Hernando County Government Center, Atrium, 20 N. Main St., Brooksville and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Spring Hill Branch Library, 9220
Spring Hill Drive.
