St. Petersburg police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of burglarizing cars in Tampa and using the victims' stolen credit cards in St. Petersburg.

The burglar only removed the victims' credit cards, leaving behind the purses/wallet, so the victims did not become aware their credit cards were missing until unauthorized charges began to appearing on their statements.

The suspect is described as white, 35 to 45 years old, 6-foot-2 to 6-4 and weighing about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with a headphone emblem on front, grayish colored shorts, flip flops and a dark colored ball cap with the letter "F" on front.

He wears dark sunglasses and has been seen driving a white 2010 or 2011 Ford Escape, police said.
