Christmas has come early for some employees of the city of Inverness.
According to our partners at the Citrus County Chronicle, the city council approved a one-time $1,000 pay increase for every city employee.
The city manager says they will get a boost in their paychecks before the holidays, and then an increase going forward.
The raise covers the city's non-union employees.
