Manatee deputies are searching for the suspect in a shooting that put one man in the hospital.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, Thomas Evrage, 24, was working in the 4200 block of Ninth Street E when he was shot.
Evrage was taken to a local hospital, where he was last listed as being in stable condition.
Deputies are now looking to identify the suspected shooter. They said witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing several people in the area at the time of the shooting.
