A former teacher in St. Petersburg is homebound after someone stole her handicap accessible van.

Linda Clark has battled multiple sclerosis for 38 years. The disease has left her disabled and dependent on a wheelchair.

Monday morning shortly after midnight someone stole her handicap accessible van from her home in St. Petersburg. Now she's without a van and unable to get out of her house to go anywhere or do anything.

"I've gone from being abled-disabled to being disabled," Clark said.

So far, police have no leads on who took her van.

Clark, who's a retired music teacher from Tyrone Middle School, says she had plans to take her grandchildren who live with her to Disneyworld this holiday season. With her van gone she says that's all on hold, despite being season pass holders.

The vehicle is described as a red 2010 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with a Florida handicap tag 030290.

If you have any information your asked to contact St. Petersburg police.
