A Dade City woman was seriously injured when she was involved in a head-on crash with a Pasco County school bus.

The crash happened just after 1 p.m. on Ehren Cutoff, just south of Tower Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Investigators said Linda Manbevers, 34, was driving a 2003 Lincoln Navigator south on Ehren Cutoff when she failed to stay in her lane and crossed into the northbound lanes.

The Navigator then crashed head-on into an oncoming Pasco County school bus driven by Linda Woodruff, 69.

Manbevers was seriously injured in the crash. She was taken by air to Bayonet Point Medical Center, where she is in serious but stable condition.

No students were on the school bus at the time of the crash.  Neither Woodruff or her single female passenger were injured.

Investigators said Manbevers will face charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license, attaching tag not assigned, no proof of insurance and failure to maintain a single lane.
