This isn't your grandfather’s motorcycle.

Harley Davidson is testing out its new electric ride here in the Bay area.

The LiveWire experience is now at the Harley Davison and Brandon. The electric motorcycle is smaller and much quieter than a traditional hog.

LiveWire is not for sale yet. Harley is testing it out its most loyal customers and markets around the country.

Virginia Duncan didn't expect to like the LiveWire.

"It was way different from what I thought. Very powerful, light," she says. "It's awesome."

Test riders are asked to give Harley their feedback. The battery life is the biggest concern. It's about 53 miles per charge.

Once the technology catches up, Harley may be able to start selling the LiveWire. You can take it for a spin and Brandon through Saturday.

LiveWire is light and fast. It goes from 0 to 60 in under four seconds and tops out at 95 miles an hour into more seconds.
