A Manatee County man has been charged with trying to lure three children into his car on Saturday.
Enrique Machuca, 22, was pulled over in Holmes Beach after police said they received a report around 9:45 a.m. about someone driving by children in the 2900 block of Avenue C. and asking if they wanted a ride.
Officers said Machuca was driving a pearl colored 2008 Mercury Milan that matched the victim's description.
Machuca is charged with three counts of luring or enticing a child under the age of 12, along with various drug charges.
