A cold front moved through the Bay area Wednesday morning with some clouds and northwest winds.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, there will be morning clouds followed by afternoon sunshine. Then it turns cooler tonight.

"The cold front is moving through the area this morning, and the isolated showers have moved south of Tampa Bay," Marquez said. "It will be mostly sunny and dry this afternoon."

High temperatures today will approach 70 degrees. Overnight temperatures will dip into the upper 40s and may reach the 30s in the Bay area's northern counties.

Conditions will be clear and cooler Thursday, with daytime highs only in the upper 60s.
