Two people were arrested Thursday for operating a marijuana grow house in Tampa.

According to the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office, Special Investigations Division detectives busted a grow house at 4919 Eldorado Drive in Tampa.

Rodney Leiva Fernandez, 37, and Ania Rodriguez Gonzalez, 36, were arrested after authorities searched the home and discovered marijuana plants and an illegal electrical connection.

Detectives recovered 19 large marijuana plants along with several items used in the cultivation process. The total weight of the marijuana was 218 pounds with an estimated street value of $436,000.00.
