Temperatures will be higher Friday afternoon as winds shift to northeasterly.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Diane Kacmarik, early-morning temperatures in the 50s and 40s will rise into the low 70s today.

"There will be high clouds and light winds today," said Kacmarik. "There will be some filtered sunshine through the day and it will be a few degrees warmer."

Conditions will turn partly cloudy and not as cool overnight with rain chances increasing starting Sunday.

Rain chances are 30 percent Sunday and jump to 60 percent on Monday and Tuesday.
